Extol Haven Homecare LLC in Mayfield Heights, OH is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and personal assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or other support needs
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility
- Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
- Encourage client independence, dignity, and community inclusion
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
- Transport clients to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
